What meals will be provided?
Day 1 will include lunch, dinner, and a late-night snack, and day 2 will include dinner. Meals will be Chick Fil A, Chipotle, and In & Out.. Fruit, snacks, drinks, and coffee will be available throughout the day. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions, and we will be happy to accommodate them!
What are the accommodations?
Housing is not included in the event. If you are coming from out of town and are looking for a place to stay, The Westin Dallas Park Central and the Residence Inn by Marriott Dallas Park Central are both within walking distance from the studio.
Where will Huddle HS take place?
The event will be held at the Worship Initiative studio in Dallas, TX. The address and instructions to get to the studio will be sent in the confirmation email.
Who should attend HuddleHS?
Huddle is for students aged 14-18 who have a desire to lead worship, play an instrument in a worship band, and/or have a desire for worship songwriting. We are NOT looking for experts. We ARE looking for students with a humble heart, who love for the Lord, and have a desire to grow in worship leading and songwriting.
How much does it cost?
The cost of the two-day event is $349. This included meals, a t-shirt, a one-year subscription to The Worship Initiative, specialized instrument breakouts, and hands-on songwriting coaching and training.
What will the breakouts be?
We will have breakouts for acoustic guitar, electric guitar, keys, vocals, drums, and studio production
Do I need to bring my instrument?
Students are welcome to bring a guitar, but no instruments are required. We have plenty of instruments at Worship Initiative, we promise :)
Who is hosting Huddle HS?
Our Worship Initiative team will be hosting your students to ensure their safety and enjoyment of the gathering. This will include Travis Warren (VP of Content), Robbie Seay (EVP of Leader Development), Lucy Allen (Senior Project Manager), and many others on our staff.
What will free time look like?
Free time will be held at The Worship Initiative studio and will be a moment for students just to hang out and get to know each other. We will have snacks and games available.
